If Bailey is long haired what age will his hair start to grow ?

My girl isn't long long haired but her hair on her back grows long enough that I have to cut it to keep it clean. Ever since she was about 6weeks she had long back hair (strange pig). You can normally tell because although they may not have very long hair they normally look shaggier, if that makes sense.

It very much depends. Full long-hairs are born short-haired, but their fur is growing out right from the word go. Crosses can be anywhere in between full long-hairs and short-hairs. Their hair is often partially growing out at a few months old - and you can never predict it just where or how far, which is adding to the charm of having cross breeds in my opinion!

This is Tegan at birth, at 6 weeks and at 3 months old (just before her first haircut):

As opposed to:
Angharad at 3 months, 6 months and 10 months old

i've never had a long haired piggy as such, but maisie had part sheltie in her so she had the sheltie 'skirt' and a bit of longer hair on top. we adopted her at ten months and those parts of her hair were already very long :)

Thank you, his fur looks kind of wavey. :)
