All mine seem to sit in the hay racks ;D
I would not use them for baby piggies though a lady elsewhere once found a baby hanging upside down if she had not walked in when she did the piggie would of died :'(

Gorgeous piggy.
I have read so many horror stories about pigs getting stuck so I dont use them at all.
A pile of hay gets put into the cage, I find its the safest way.

I had this exact thing for my girls (who at the time were about 6wks and they climbed up over and into the hay net. One option is to get one with a lid so they can't get IN it, but then you have the problem of them climbing onto it as my boy likes to do. xx0

The girls have one that is like a spiral almost...you hang it from the ceiling of their cage and it has a little bell on the end...they just love it.

i thought about buying the hay mangers from p@h but use the wire half plant pot things for your wall ;D ...... 3 for£5 in poundstretchers O0... i keep it on outside of cage.... my pigs love it cos it holds soooooo much more!

Since I put it on the outside of his cage, he does not seem to eat hay much, also he does not seem to be drinking much, he has 2 bottles one with plain water and one with beaphar carrot drink in but he just does not seem to be drinking, unless he is getting his water in his vegetables?

i know someone said there that the prob come when they jump on top of it, but maybe if it was lifted up and attached to the side of the cage... or dangled from the roof by a corner (like a diamond shape) making it sort of similar to the spiral manger...
