How to treat a bite

They are happily sleeping next to each other now. I'm not sure how he got the injury to be honest. I'll keep an eye on them for now and if there's any further fighting, I'll be taking him back. I really wanted to get Len a cage mate as he's so keen to be with other piggies, so it would be a real shame

My boars had to be separated after blood was drawn, it’s true what I was advised on this forum, they never recover territorially. However they can live very happily ‘together-apart’. My boys love each other, but on the few times over 2 years since I attempted same-space they immediately teeth chatter and rumble strut like crazy! Then happily rubbing noses and engaging once they have the barrier in place. In addition to the below, they have an XL-run with mesh centre for their grass-time. It’s extra work and space but it really can be a good life for them.
Very best wishes to you and I hope that the piggies can be happy and safe xx
