how often do you wash cozys etc

How often do you wash their cuddle cups and beds? Do you wash them when you change the bedding once a week?

I wash mine whenever I change the fleece - my piggies like to use them as a toilet. I have two sets and change every two days.

I think its really down to how used they are, sometimes you can get aways with shaking off or out poops and washing them once a week. If they wee on them a lot i would wash them as needed.

My older boys are horrible, they live in their cozies and they get wet, poopy and food covered so quickly, so mine get washed every other day and replaced with a new one. They go through them so quickly i had to make about 12 of the things.

Ah right, mine use them as toilets as well but they dont stay in them very often and I have two but keep one out and one in.

I am going to attempt to make a cuddle cup (but the easy way haha)

I've taken mine out as all the piggies do is wet them! i was having to replace them everyday.

I wash ours just when they need it i.e if the piggies have been seen sitting on them for a long time its guaranteed they will have peed on them mallethead - we dont use ours that often just now as it is quite warm but we did put them in the other night as was a wee bitty chilly and they dived into them like it was soemthing new

I was thinking that but they do like climb over them and jump through it etc but mostly I use it to transport them to and from the cage inbreeding

I get in and kneel down in the cage to clear up the poops and they run round and poop behind my back. Flumpet once pooped on my foot! Gotta love them ****ies. |)

The cosies that I use to carry the girls to and fro and for lap time don't get washed as much unless they wee in them. Maybe every 1-2 weeks depending on how dirty they are. My girls are very good at lap time and hardly ever wee/ poop but I don't have them out for very long or every day (for lap time).
