My boys hate being handled and when I do handle them there’s usually some major struggle and I get caked in rodent hair.

I can easily spend a full 5 minutes afterwards picking each hair off my clothing individually and the lint brush I have doesn’t seem to want to pick up the hairs.

The lint brush worked a bit when I’d get my bunny’s fur on me but his hair was shorter and far softer, my rodents hair is coarse and long. Any great tips other than use selotape like it’s going out of fashion?

I get covered in guinea pig's hair all the time. Fred is worst as he's white. I use a lint brush and a clothes brush and I'm still caked in hair, I only handle them in jeans and my casual wear to save all my other clothes! rolleyes

I don't think I fancy getting changed into 'rodent clothes' each time I handle mine.

Suppose if there's not an easy-fix to getting hair off then I might have to resort to that though.

I wear really scruffy clothes around the house anyway so I haven't been bothered about my clothes as such, it's just that I don't like spreading hair in every other room.

I've always found this to be a bit of a problem too and the hair ends up all over the house. I don't have a miracle solution either, I'm afraid, but am glad you asked!

Let's see if we have any Kim or Aggie wannabes around here who can offer us a lil gem of a tip... :)

piggie hairs are inevitable - I avoid them in my work clothes, have a special "non-stick" (just a waterproof) the all big jobs.

Still take a hairy patch and a strand of hay into work most days, sometimes a poop too. don't quite know how . . . I'm so careful :(

Ooooh, thanks Flips...and it even has an integrated shoe horn! (Not sure why I'm quite so excited about the shoe horn feature though, considering I've managed perfectly fine for 30 something years without ever having to use one!) Will give the brush a try though :)

LOL I've never before heard of National "Take your hairy patch and a poop into work" Day! ;)

I use one of those pet hair sticky roller things I got mine from p@H and you can get refills from cheap shops like homebargains. They work a treat and I also use them on their arm chairs before I wash them as the washing machine never gets hair off!

quite ofen i cant be bothered changing out of my uniform from work so i have to remove as much hairs as possible. i use a roller brush from ikea which gets rid of most! i also use the black duct tape which is known in my job as black maskers. its sticky stuff! i make a loop round my hand and dab on my clothes. it works quite well.( i wear a wooly pullover as part of my uniform and its a hair magnet!) this way usually works for most hairs. the remainder i have to try to pick off myself

If I am wearing something I don't want to become hairy, I put a fleecy body warmer on over the top and zip it up. I usually have a couple in the piggy shed, pigs love to snuggle in it and I don't mind the hair on it. x

Both my boys are mainly white so we have a nightmare with it! We use the ikea sticky roller things, gets it all off. If only you could roller the house :(

Lol the eternal pet hair problem somone wrote a song about dog hair , it's on * tube sounds like you all could relate to it I will go look for it .
I'm afraid pet hair in this house is like accesories ... Claire would b proud. And today I shall be wearing a black cotton t shirt with a light sprinkling of White hair over the front , pay special attention to the vagually guinie pig shaped design toward the left hand shoulder .

Can't do links type in there is dog hair in everything I do into you tube and you get the lady singing. It's true for me might be for * too.

i use one of those rollers too and i even use it on the couch after cuddle time it works great for all animal hair;) i got mine from the vet and it was rather expensive but high quality
