Readigrass is a much loved treat in my house, I believe it's only recommended to give a handful of two a week. I think it's due the calcium content but I can't really remember.
Yes, with my pigs I just put a very small amount in there hay for them to find.

Really didn't want him suffering with his teeth like my old pig as I saw how much pain it put him through so happy it's sorted less to worry about now haha thank you

We gave my pig Timothy hay today stuffed in a loo role and he went mental love it and he's eaten so much not even touched a biscuit today thank you everyone for the help
That's great! I was just reading through your thread and was going to suggest hay stuffed in a cardboard roll or paper bag. We also have a log with holes in it that we bought in P@H, which we stuff with hay and the girls love it.

You should give them as much hay as possible, as they are not getting all the nutrition they need, your vet is talking twaddle, I'd change your vet if possible. All fresh greens everyday. I found my piggies would leave there veg & go onto the hay.
So now I wait until they've eaten a fair bit of there veggies & then put the hay.

He has so much hay constantly we give him veg every Morning ( now I do anyway I'll ignore the vet) and then I've noticed as soon as he finished them he goes straight to the hay I'm not worried he's going through a lot per day by himself
