Help I dont know if my piggie is bloated :(

Have a look at the link below for rescues. I know they’re few and far between in Canada. Also ask the vet if they can direct you to rescues. Are your parents willing to help with the vet costs? Or any other relative?

Thank you so much for the resources, I checked them, 1 has closed, one doesn’t have a surrender option and the other one doesn’t accept surrenders from the public 😭 my parents said absolutely not to surgery and I don’t think it would make sence because she can get another stone in a few weeks😢and she has bladder sludge and it would be way too many costs. She is still on pain meds, I don’t know weather I should put her down and when, one moment she’s hunched over crying, so I think oh no I have to put her down, and the next moment she’s out eating and walking around, and it’s just an endless cycle of pain, fine, pain, fine and I have no idea 😭 I don’t want her to be in pain, but if she’s not I don’t want to put her down. I am so confused and need help. 😭

As she’s still squeaking then I’d say her pain meds need changing - maybe just increasing in either dosage or frequency or even a different kind. I think you should speak with your vet and seek their professional advice on what’s best for your sweet piggy.

Thank you so much for your help, we phoned the vets and made the decision to put her down today, as she has a very hard time peeing. I’m very devastated but greatful for the experience of owning piggies, this is my last pig 😭 her friend passed last month. I love them so much. I don’t know how I’ll live without them. Very greatful for this fourm as people have helped me out so much, any way I can donate to the form? Or do anything? Thank you all again ❤️❤️❤️

I’m so sorry for your loss. You made this decision, with your vet, with Paris’s well-being in mind. It was a tough decision. She’s not in pain anymore and will be popcorning free forever with her friend over the rainbow bridge. Take care.

I’m so sorry for your loss but thank you for loving her enough to make that very tough decision to end her suffering. I’m sure she knew she was loved.
