It’s so hard grieving yourself and watching your remaining piggy grieving tooThank you everyone. Ollie has Gus blanket with him overnight. He's so sad our hearts are hurting so much.
Thinking of you and Ollie.

Thanks so much. Ollie spent hours with Gus yesterday afterwards and did not leave his sudden. he tried moving Gus nudging etc cleaned him. It was heart breaking. We took Gus out at midnight but left his blanket in cage. Ollie slept in it all night still there this morning. It’s so hard grieving yourself and watching your remaining piggy grieving too

Aww I'm so so sorry to hear you have lost Gus. It is absolutely heartbreaking. We have 6 other boys that are bonded in pairs so maybe Ollie will cope with them. Time will tell. He's refused breakfast todayI'm so sorry for your loss, I have also recently lost my Gus. It's heartbreaking watching the remaining piggie. All the best to you and Ollie, I hope he perks up a bit soon
We are hoping that he will bond with one of our other 6. ... Xx thanks for the advice...will keep very close eye on himI am so sorry you lost Gus, I hope Ollie perks up soon, mit usually takes a couple of weeks, keep a keen eye on him while he is grieving (step in with syringe feeding if you feel he is not eating his usual amount and weigh him daily at the same time) and look after yourselves too x
Perhaps in the near future you can find a little friend for Ollie via dating at a rescue

They are always out in one large group in the garden daily just not inside. We have one boy on his own George as he won't bond with any of the boys and they don't accept him. It's odd. Maybe in time Ollie will.I'm so sorry for your loss.
If the others are already in bonded pairs, then please do not attempt to put him with one of the pairs. Doing so can break the bond so you could end with big fights and all three of them being single. Boars do not do well in trios

They have always mixed from young age. Just not in cagesOk - if that works for them and they don’t fight then you are very lucky - allowing bonded pairs to mix can ruin all bonds.
Hopefully George and Ollie can bond as a pair

Yeah they love it in cages too but just not enough room to close them all in...so overnight they go in pairs but have the choice as can swap between cages if they want as open but they separate themselves funny pigs. Apart from George he has to be on his own he's quite territorial! As I said you’re very lucky, particularly if they were accepting of it even as hormonal teenagers!
