Has Anyone Done A Winter With Fleece - Washing

Rather than having one giant liner I made 3 smaller ones for my largest cage. Makes it so much easier to clean. Can shake all the hay, etc off each individual liner and chuck them in the wash. Almost makes drying them 100x more easy :)

I wash my piggies' fleece at a laundrette as I don't have a working washing machine at home. They never really see what I'm sticking in the washer/dryer at the laundrette so no problems so far!

:D I've got 7 Ziggy cage liners that I need to wash/get washed before I can sell them/give them to a rescue. I was thinking that maybe I could take them to a launderette, but was worried about the pee and hairs in them contaminating the machines.

i used to tie my fleece items up in a single duvet cover then put them in machine…but now I've brought a proper bag that zips up. Used to sue them to wash horses work boots, numnahs and girths etc so it stops any hay or fur getting into machine and clogging it up.
Fleece is generally very day to dry, at the moment I'm more concerned of where to put 8 piggies at cleaning time when weather gets colder. As it is I'm not putting them on grass due to it being damp and concerned for them getting bloat
