Will be thinking of Hannah, and I hope she has a speedy recovery xx:)p

Well apart from still being a little quiet and not eating huge amounts, Hannah is pretty much back to normal. I can't believe how quickly she's recovered.

Thanks everyone for all your lovely messages. It's so scary when your piggy is having an op and especially when its such a serious and delicate one. All your kinds words helped so much.

I would definately spend the money on my little creatures as I feel they are worth every penny.

So glad to hear the little darling is imroving :) what a star. I think I would probably go with the test too, but that's just me, I like to know what I am dealing with.

Well so do I, its not about whether I spend the money, its about whether its going to be money well spent or not. If my animals need treatment they get it irrespective of cost. I haven't had a holiday for years because I would rather spend my money on my animals.

I know you feel like that. I do think it would be money well spent, as you may find it's cancer in the early stages and the earlier you find/diognose it, the easier and quicker it is to treat, on the other hand it may be nothing. but wouldn't it be fabulous to know it's nothing? or wouldn't it be good to know if it's something serious early on to cure it? that's just the way i feel about it in my position,i dont know how i'd feel after one of mine went through a big op but was recovering well. it is a dilemma

Vets bills are fortune!

I find your comments rather rude!

Debbie has many little creatures & also thinks they are worth every penny; sadly she knows all about the costs of veterinary treatment & has spent a small fortune this year alone!
I know of at least 7 who have had veterinary treatment this year alone- all having had ongoing treatment, some needing operations & with more than one being ill at one time.
At this moment in time 3 are receiving treatment all being paid for by her as she is a single woman, no 2nd income to help out.
Her life is her animals, she doesn't have holidays because she gives them everything they need so please before you type, think first what affect your words could have on people!

I agreed to have Riff's lump sent to histology. After Scarby I am terrified that any lump is malignant. It is the right thing to do.

Sadly there is no NHS for them....

I did not mean to offend anyone so sorry if I have done. It wasn't supposed to come across in a rude or ignorant manner. I think you have misunderstood the way it was meant. I was making a generalised statement about vets fees/charges and was not at all implying that furry friends could not look after her animals or made incorrect choices. How can I make a statement like that about someone who I don't know. I think things can be read differently via the web to how you might say something face-to-face to someone. Like I said before apologies to anyone who took my comments offensively.
