My uncle does this. He hands the phone over to Mindy who is a Moluccan or Salmon-crested cockatoo. She gets very wound up when they are trying to sell her something and starts arguing back. "No, I don't want that! You're stupid! What time is dinnner? Who forgot to lock the door? It's 5 o'clock! What are you doing?" Those are some of the best things I've heard her say, but most of it is really not clear of what she says. It's like listening to a child tell you about something exciting they did during their day with a mouth full of food.

My Lovely Late Mum used to let them say their spiel and then replied "I'm so sorry, I'm a little deaf, would you mind repeating that?" nine times out of ten they would put the phone down as they hadn't been trained how to deal with that response.

Reminds me of one of my budgies, Dove - whenever I let her out of the cage, she flies straight to the piggy cage, where she eats hay and vegetables with the pigs, sleeps in the pig beds, runs through the fleece tunnels, etc. The piggies don’t mind at all, she’s part of the herd at this point 😂

Having been to the gym this morning I'm feeling an 8 cos I'm a bit frazzled. Hoping to be a 4 but will most likely be a 7!
 
8 is my normal hair day, 5 is now and the next 10 days since my hip joint decided to be uncooperative. I'm going to crawl to the ice hall if I have to but sunday we're going to see Iron Maiden!

Thank you ❤️it should get better soon, I got a cortisone injection this morning. I don't mind some sick leave though, I get to spend more time with the piggies 😁 also luckily the ice hall is quite close by. It's been at least 20 years since I last saw Maiden, it's going to be fun.
