i would like to do some keep sakes for my girls and print there little feet on some paper to frame.. to anyone whose done this before what paint did you use and how do you clean it off afterwards? thanks!

There are things you can buy to take footprints but you don't have to put ink on their foot. I can't remember what they're called though

I have done something similar but with an ink kit that you’re supposed to just press on and get no ink on your baby or animals foot, but the pigs were too light so I used the ink on the foot and then wiped it off straight after.

If you wanted it to be colourful you could get perhaps non toxic (is that a thing?) paint and use that instead, even then quickly wiping it off once you have the print.
Perhaps paint advertised for children.

One tip would be to prepare to have many tries and get only one good one, if you’re lucky!

This is the one I used - https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09H7LYDH2?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

You can see in the photo, the prints are not perfect, but my more calm boy has the neatest one and my boy who has now passed was the most expressive and loud piggie and his little print is a bit more messy, I am forever grateful I made the decision to take these prints.
It is supposed to be inkless but you can use the ink on their feet if you just press and wipe it off instantly with some warm water, both my boys feet were/are fine.
Definitely a two man job, and I would keep plenty of card (it comes with 4 cards) and veggies on stand-by ;)

P.S - Chose your picture frame beforehand, and make sure it fits the length of the card provided, or just use your own plain card. I mean plenty.. we ended up using loads of old birthday cards and you can see the middle one is slightly yellow because the card was bright yellow, although the lighting does it no justice.

i think
