Hi

I have a carrier for my Scruffy but now I have max (and to be honest the carrier I have now is too small really as they are growing) so i want to get one which willb e big enough for them both when they are full grown adults.

Which ones do you use, and do you have links to any sites that sell them. Do you put both piggys in the carrier or have separate ones?

Help greatly received! thanks! :)

We have large carriers, the type you'd take a cat to the vet in because we also have big bunnies.
However we always put piggies in the same carrier with lots of hay and treats to ease the stress of being oiked off into the unknown.

I have a large cat carrier that is plenty big enough for two.

Whenever Joe has gone to the vets Jimmy goes with him for Company.

I always take a friend along for company, Murphy (neutered boar) lives with three girls and when he went Honey went for the ride with him.

Something like this would be ideal.

thanks, where you most of you get yours - i mean like P@H, local pet store, online?

Do you have ones with the front door, and not the door at the top. Roughly how much are these? Sorry for all the questions!

Have you tried looking in your local Wilkinsons store? They do these carriers quite cheaply arount £8 or so..

Top opening ones are much easier for getting wrigglers in and out without stressing them too much as you can reach in and lift them up much more easily!

I got my big carriers from Pets at Home - they are small cat baskets and do the job great for transporting pairs or groups.

thank you! i cant get ebay at work, so i shall look at this link when i get home this evening!

I think mine is the Atlas 10 on that link.

I've had it for about 5 years I think and its seen me through numerous rescue pig runs up and down the country plus transporting my brood and more recently its been doubling up for cats too when I had foster kittens!

Just had a look on the Argos website, and the small one is the same price as the Wilkinsons one, but the medium is more expensive!

I have a big one that opens on the side and top,i find the top door soooo much easier! x

i got the one from p@h in the end for 12.99 and its huge. it doesnt have a top door but it doesnt matter as they love coming out the front!

We bought the large carrier at P@H, it's in the small animal section with the cute little ones for single pigs. It's pretty large and easily fits two big piggies in. I think it sells for around a tenner or so.

Toby has a pretty small one but it does him.
Maybe get a cat carrier to transport them both?
