Which pellets do you recommend? Without grain, soy, molasses and bad fillers?

I am about to go pellets free because I can't find any brand that I am convinced about the ingredients! It is driving me crazy ...I am in Germany, so there might be some brands I am not able to get!...

I use Science Selective Grain Free pellets which mine love.
Not sure if they’re free of the other ingredients.
I also don’t know if they’re available in Germany.
@Mrs Tiggy Winkle lives in Germany and @Viennese Furbabies is in Austria so they may be able to give you better advice
I use them too and my lot love them.

I saw it, but this one contains soy, I know there is no scientific publication relating soy with cancer, but I still would prefer not to give

You don't need to feed pellets if you're not comfortable feeding them. They are not really esssentiel to a guinea pig's diet.
Mine get a bit of Science Selective and Versele Laga pellets but just as special treats.
You could also have a look around here but I'm not sure if they are soy free: Steppenlemming’s - Lemminge, die direkt ins Mäulchen wandern

I haven't fed pellets for years but I'll wrack my braains and see if I've heard of any for your criteria.

Haha thanks for checking! But I am happy to hear that you are lucky without feeding pellets.. since you are in Germany, may I ask if you follow the rule of 1 cup of veggies per day or if you give all the time access to fresh grass and veggies like most Germans? I am very new to GP so I am.trying to find what is the healthiest for them..

Actually I haven't had my own piggies now for 2 years, but previously I had them for over 20 years as an adult...

I never measured veggies exactly. And i'd be happy to leave veggies or grass or dandelions etc in with the guineas till they ate their greens up. So, that's access most of the time at least. Although I offered hay-only days sometimes too.

Not all of us in the UK follow the one cupful rule strictly.
Mine get a pasta bowl full of assorted veggies spread throughout the day.

Mine get a bit over a cup worth of veg. I don’t feed pellets much - they get around five pellets each twice a week.
During summer in addition to their veg, they also get around 14 hours per day grazing time on the grass

I would love this, but I live in an apartment,... I will start growing grass in trays, my boyfriend will kill me, our entire apartment is full of GP stuff now😂

I'm brand new to the forum, wish I found it sooner!

My close friend recommended 'Sherwood Pet Health' since they ditch the grains, soy and byproducts!
Sherwood Pet Health - Guinea Pigs | 3 Easy Steps for Digestive Health

I submitted an inquiry via their contact form to learn more about the three different types of pellets they offer and they sent me samples of each

They have wonderful supplement supports too! Supplement Support
- Appetite Restore, Digestive Support, Joint Support, Tripleberry Vitamin C, Urinary Support
Their Prevention Support tablets are excellent, as they provide support for five areas of health, making them a great alternative to purchasing individual bags.

I'm uncertain whether they offer international shipping from their official website, but their products are available on several other retail sites:
Amazon.com: Sherwood Pet Health: Supplements
Amazon.com: Sherwood Pet Health: Emergency Kits and Recovery Food

Here's a UK & European shipping site for Sherwood Pet Health: Sherwood Pet Health Supplements - Rabbit Care UK

I hope this information is helpful :D

I'm thinking of ordering the prevention support. I just don't want my boys to get bladder problems.
