Oh this broke my heart.. I’m really sorry. She has such a lovely home, you’ve given her everything. Little Squiggle’s officially my favourite reverse panda ❤
 
I' very sad to learn this news @GPTV. Remember that the very gorgeous Squiggle doesn't know she's ill so will just bimble around doing bimbly piggy stuff until she can't anymore. Make lots of Squiggle memories.

It’s a real blow getting that kind of diagnosis.
Make lots of happy memories with Squiggle in whatever time she has left.
She’s a very special piggy.
Be gentle with yourself- remember this kind of news kicks off the grieving process.
 
Oh no! I’m so sorry you’ve had such sad news about Squiggle, she is a big favourite of mine. Hopefully you will have lots of happy times left with her x

The vet said she could feel a very enlarged kidney one side & that a urine sample showed it was very diluted.
Squiggle has been losing weight for some time now & is now quite frail :(

The vet said that there's not really much that can be done & just to let her enjoy the rest of the time she is with us :(
She told me she was a dear little lady & she had them all entertained with her antics.... I'm not sure what she did though? :wub:

They were also amazed with her food 'vacuuming' skills, apparently she virtually inhaled the grass & dandelion leaves I took for her :))

I put her in the garden this morning & she was happy nibbling away at the grass with the other two 😊
I had a lovely cuddle (although she doesn't normally do cuddles) so I know she's quite fragile :(

I just thought I'd post a few more photos whilst I still can, she's only about 3yrs old so I'm still a bit in shock :no:

Sorry just caught up with your lovely thread, I’m so sorry for your bad news Andrea, she’s such a gorgeous girl.❤️ I really hope you’ve got lots more lovely time together :hug:

When Jess got her same diagnosis last year we had nearly two more months of her loveliness before she told me she was ready to go to the bridge, hopefully beautiful Squiggle will be enjoying her grass and sunshine for a long time to come ❤️xx

Well just thought I'd update this thread with a few photos, I've not taken many photos lately, what with one thing & another going on here.

We had a little (dreaded) manicure/pedicure session yesterday afternoon as the girls nails had got rather long. :yikes: Tiggy needed a little bum trim too! ✂️

Bumblebee dutifully suffered her trimming & had a happy chuntering cuddle afterwards :love:

Tiggy however was visibly less impressed by the whole process! The ungainly pinning to the chest position is Definitely not a winner for her!
Although in all fairness the bum trimming was tolerated with a back up of hand picked grass as a bribe ;) :D

Twins - Tiggy & Posh are a bit different then, Tiggy doesn't 'do' nail trims without a fight! She isn't so keen on brushing & baths... But the blow dry is her idea of bliss :love:
(oddly enough happy for me to brush & blow her wet hair dry, but not brush the dry hair).

Would Posh give Tiggy Spa day pampering lessons? 🐹 🐹

So this is Poppy (already her name) , she's a German shepherd x something 'big & fluffy' ... Not sure what though!

I rehomed her the beginning of the year, she's amazing - good with kids, good indoors (will counter surf given the opportunity!), a big, soft, cuddle monster....
Until she sees another dog, cat, hedgehog, dustbin (yes a big ol' scary dustbin!), she loses her stack & barks like a loon, taking me pavement skating in the process :yikes:
She's a diva, who's attention seeking & frustrated...!

She's improving though, apparently she was under socialised as a pup, she's 7yrs old now & I'm her 3rd home.

We've seen dog behaviourists & we've had a doggy class, we're going back for more in the new year.
She's hard work but she's worth it - she's my little sticking plaster, helping me to mend my broken heart from losing my previous dog.

Tiggy seems to be a bit camera shy at the moment, possibly because Wendy keeps barbering her hair & she's still trying to grow her hair back from her HCG injections for her ovarian cyst. :hug:

I just love the look on Wendy & Tiggys faces in the background at Bumblebee chewing on the bars, kind of 'what are you doing that for you silly moo, keep the noise down!'
