Thankyou I do clean them out everyday but I will start doing twice now it’s getting warmerNot all flies pose a risk, it is only only blowflies which are of concern.
We don’t recommend the use of the sprays. There should be no need with good husbandry
The best prevention from fly strike is keeping the cage clean (doing poop picking several times in hot weather), keeping hair trimmed (long hair piggies) checking piggy bottoms twice a day.

Fly Strike
There indoors and where do get the fly paper from thankyouIt’s those horrible big noisy flies to watch out for - the blow flies etc
If you regularly do some poo picking / cleaning out then the piggies should be fine
Are your piggies indoors or outdoors ?
I’ve used a fly paper before - I know it might seem cruel but my guinea pigs always come first
