Floss getting spayed on Monday

I’m so so sorry to hear this, what a horrible and heartbreaking shock for you. You did all the advised things, followed professional advice and are clearly an extremely kind, caring and thoughtful owner. This must have been a horrible shock and my heart goes out to you.

Oh no! I logged on this morning specifically to see if there was an update on her as she was doing so well but wasn't expecting this type of update. I'm so sorry to hear this. You did everything you could and needed to do so don't be hard on yourself. RIP Floss ❤️🌈

Thanks all ❤️ I’m hurting a lot. I keep turning over in my head should I have gone through with it. There were big cysts present when they opened. But I just can’t believe she’s gone. Aw she's so beautiful. You were uncertain about the op and must be wondering what if. It sounds like she needed the op? Maybe whatever was causing the weight loss beforehand, came into play. Sorry for what you're going through.
 
Oh no, I am utterly shocked and how awful for you. Such a beautiful girl. I am so so sorry and no words can convey how you must feel right now but she knew she was loved and she was safe and you did everything you could for her. as Black Piggies says, possibly something else was going on too? They are such complex things and hide illness very well. Take care of yourself at such a sad time. x
 
It’s so sad. She was clearly unwell through no fault of yours, she was losing weight which is something you had to take seriously, and she had the hair loss. Also the operation showed she had cysts. You were just following recommended practice and doing exactly what others would have done in your shoes. You did everything to the letter. You weren’t to know how it would turn out. It’s just so cruel isn’t it: if the vets hadn’t acted and then something bad happened to her you’d be beating yourself up over that too. We just can’t see into the future can we. Either way sometimes it feels like you’re dammed if you do and you’re damned if you don’t, which is just so cruel and heartbreaking. You did your very best for her and that’s all anyone can do. I’m sure she felt very much loved and well cared for. I hope you have some good support of your own as this sounds very traumatic.
