Well done on separating them and making plans for them to live separately. It's a big shock when they fall out.
 
Am sorry you had to separate but you have done the right thing. Skinnies are big characters too and I think they can be more highly strung than hairy pigs, my 2 certainly are. Wounds always look worse too, Phoebe was attacked by Amy in a carrier and her wounds looked awful. Hope they are both ok.
 
I tried them together again today after a bonding bath ( they were purring) disinfected the cage, washed all their stuff so everything was neutral but withing 15 mins Poe was butting Edgar with his nose, they circled, teeth chattering amd Poe started lunging at Edgar. Def things are not going to settle down. I have the cage grids coming Monday and will extend upwards. Going to build Edgar his own loft too so they can be together still but divided. IIt's sad as Edgar is sitting by the side of the C&C as Poe is in a 4ft rabbit cage by the side of him. Edgar is purring and looking over but Poe just starts chattering at him. Clearly Poe is the dominant one and isn't wanting to be with edgar. They were so settled before it is a shock. Well I have learnt from this. If they seem to get too lonely I will rescue 2 sows, ( after lots of research) get the guys neutered and pair them up with a wife :)
 
Well the boys have been having floor time together over a bowl of veggies and no animosity was observed. They shared the bowl nicely. Poe groomed Edgar a bit and then started popcorning. I won't however risk putting them back in together as they both seem happy apart and are still eating and drinking fine. Once my new grids come they will be able to sit side by side and still be close and still have their floor time together I feel alot better about it all today. Thanks for everyone's support x
