Fighting? Please Help?

I agree except that I think youve been autocorrected. I wouldn't put bowls in for an introduction, but if you did, definitely more than one.

Yes, I meant to say that it's best not to put any in as they might fight over one but didn't explain myself properly :)

Okay, thank you guys so much! I'll keep you posted! ❤❤❤

Update: I'm sad but very grateful. I put my babies on my bed to give them soft texture and have my scent only. My other animals? Rats and mice, they haven't been on my bed in a while bc they like my hoodies. It's only my scent. They stared at each other and I laughed bc Lalo looked at me like "You're kidding me". (He's a sassy piggy) and we'll, they started licking and nibbling my bed? Mainly licking. So, as I backed up to grab the hay bag, Harold fur was already up and chattering and even huffing was happening. Even though they were both distracted by their surroundings. Harold lunged at Lalo and stomped and I freaked because I saw Harold mouth open and if Lalo didn't move, Lalo would had gotten bit around the neck. I butt in and Lalo almost bit my hand if I didn't move it in time (I have the safety mitts and everything but it still shows that Lalo was going to retaliate) so, I tried to separate them and Harold was trying his best to get to Lalo while Lalo stood back and chatted and waited for me to do something with Harold after noticing he almost bit the wrong "target"? So, they are currently in their piggy homes and I'm ordering g a new cage tonight and putting it next to Lalos cage. I'm sad they can't live together but grateful that it wasn't worse than what it could've been. I'm just happy they're okay.

Oh dear, that's a shame. Still, now you know for sure that they don't want to live together, and you can make plans. Sorry it didn't work out.

It's totally fine! If living in separate homes but next to each other makes them happy guin - pigs, then I'm definitely happy. I felt upset, frustrated and sad by them in the same cage with a divider because the space isn't as big as I'd like it and when they first started fighting, it stressed them out. So, if separating cages mean they'll be happy then I'm just as happy! Thank you all for the help. I might make a new post later in The future for updates on how they are. Right now, they're sleepy boys, haven't heard a squeak in a while and see them laying down in their piggy homes. Theyre doing great now, being apart again (definitely noticed mood changes). I'm glad it's all over. (I'm sure they are too) thanks again! ❤❤❤

Hey! To be honest I have had males all my life and I’ve often had bonding problems but being honest it’s life and you can’t really make 2 guinea pigs like each other. If they are fighting they may never get along you just need to learn to deal with it by making it less stressful for them and yourself by providing 1 of everything each.My rule is to separate if blood is drawn! It’s like you will always get wet in the rain but you can use a umbrella :) best of love xoxo
