Will monitor this closely
They are in the big pen tonight see what it's like in the morning .
We have plans to alter the pen etc if we do have to seperate ( I hope not )
Thanks for your help will keep you posted

Hi all
Have ordered some shampoo for a bonding bath!
They seem happier in the big run I just cover it up at night with sleeping bags so they are cosy.
Izzy Disco ( less dominant boy) was wiggling his bottom a bit and I put some hay in the run to distract the situation and he went off to eat. We are bathing his lip twice a day with saline should I put sudocreme on? He's eating fine and letting me bathe it maybe it looks worse than it is ? I'm keeping a close eye. Buying some mesh today incase we have to seperate the boys .
We are also going to chop up the hutch to make two sleeping quatres to add to the run, opposite ends hopefully things will calm down!

I've seperated them this morning there was bum wriggling and a lot of chasing and teeth chattering!
It started after I left last post typical!
Is it worth me doing a bonding bath or just bite the bullet and put a wire mesh up in the pen?
I have noticed Izzy seems small size wise but weighs the same over the last two weeks . I wonder if it's just stressing him out too much ?
I'm quite upset about the whole thing but would rather have a happy healthy piggies than a hurt one or even worse situation !

I do not think they are going to be friends. I would having them living apart. I am sorry they do not get on. It is very upsetting for you.

Thank you,,it's horrible to do this but I think it was leading up to something bigger. They are now divided and both are squaring up to each other against the wire.
Izzy seems to be provoking it more which seems odd. There is a lot of teeth chattering and siding up to the mesh also bottom wiggling ! Will reinforce over the weekend . It's like have a new born baby again trying work out what's going on

There is tons of room there I am sure once they settle down they will be ok. My boys are side by side by side and are fairing well. They still enjoy floor time together just cannot live together .

The boys are living apart with a wire mesh screen. Izzy has been bottom wiggling, dragging his bottom and squaring up to Marble ( the dominate one) all very odd seeing as he was being bullied!
Izzy has also been sharing hay through the bars too !
I've treated both for fleas but today izzy had a scab type thing when I put pressure on it , it fell off with a small bit of fur , could that be mites?
His cut to his lip is healing bathing twice a day however I think I should get him checked by the vet.
Generally he seems happier and very confident in his behaviour which makes me think he may have been depressed before ?

Edgar my sub boy squares up to Poe more now occasionally now they are apart. They share hay at floortime and generally get on. They are nice to each other and spend alot of time side by side through the divider in the cage. Edgar def seems happier now. Poe was always happy regardless. Maybe Izzy is as now he does not have to be looking over his shoulder all the time but does have company still :)
