Yeah as Claire mentioned this was my setup the year my four came inside for the first time. I removed one of the front doors on the cage by the window so that I had a ramp over the two cages- and slid the door along. The ramp was 2 log bridges joined together using cable ties. The end of the other cage had to be securely cable tied to the roof of the other.
Overall it worked well for me given the space I had :)
Thankyou so much I'll undo the sides on both cages cable tie them. And do the log ramp. Keeping the sides on top in case things don't go well. So I can seperate them if needed. I hope I won't have to. :hug:X

I have two of these cages and never even though of putting them together, what a great idea  let us know how you get on!

That's pretty much what I did when pumpkin, boo and jack all lived together. Only things i would say are have you cable tied the cages securely together? And could you either push both the cupboards together or put both cages on something else, I am worried about the gap between the cupboards where join is!

U don't have to worry they are cabled tied together and they have a board right across I just moved it while I was sorting things out u do not have to worry x

I really like to see people adapting what they have, saving money and re-using items instead of going out and buying something expensive and new :)

How do they get on with the log ramp?
Not sure what to do with them to be honest Murray just jumps over !. More concerned with their behaviour at the mo Murray who was so aggressive to Andy(rainbow bridge now) is being really dominant. Jumped straight over to jacks cage, sitting on him mounting him, wouldn't lye jack in his cage tho. I am worried because he did some really bad wounds to Andy and jack is really little compared to him. They've been fine on floor time. They've had four hours together so I've separated them for the night and try again tomorrow x

Needs must I'm afraid I don't have much money so adapting is the best way. I used to cable tie collapsible storage crates together to make a big cage that worked really well for a while till the boys fell out !x

So you didn't need a ramp after all. :D Naughty Murray  I would keep them separated too for the night. Good luck

No but Murray did use it twice jacks not too sure they are now on their respective cages for the night with some supper. X

It looks great.at least you know you have the option of keeping them in a massive almost 8ft cage now though :) keeping fingers crossed for them getting on!x

It kinda stressing me out :hb: I just want them to be buddies that's all, bought Murray a new hidey and he's not too impressed at all, such a funny piggy! Might be there ages. Murray is 13 months now and captain jack is 5 months Can't keep everyone happy I suppose:flag: Xx
