I have to of the above cages for my boys. They are seperated at the mo. They both seem to be bonding well on their floor time. Any suggestions on how join the cages together so they can spend more time with one another . C and c cages are out of the question as these Are new cages and space is a bit of an issue thank you in anticipation x

That is one cage as u can see he has a different hideaway yes it is the one you posted and this one still has the original hideaway. Awaiting his new one . They have never used the platform at all ximage.webp

Join the ends, get rid of the platform and create a ramp either side maybe

Oh and endless amount of trouble with their water bottles keep pulling them off the wires don't hold up well. Help with that would be good if poss xx

I solved the water bottle problem with this. There's a couple of models here too as I've just got them in for the nightimage.webp

Was going to do that but not sure what to make the ramp out of any suggestions x
If you know someone handy you could get them to join 3 pieces of wood together. I've drawn you a pic for an ideaimage.webp

I tried the wooden sticks thing and the little so and so's wouldn't climb it.

Check out amazon and type in Guinea pig ramp. There's one already made for you :D It's a trixie one. I'm useless on doing links!

Other water bottle you could try is ferplast sippy it attaches to a frame which screws onto vars so cant be moved by them its about £7 from p@h

I have Sippy bottles; they are much better re. build up from algae in summery weather than normal plastic bottles. Some bottles never stop leaking, but it is not quite the 100% leakiness rate I had with glass bottles, which all started to run very quickly.

We are still searching for the perfect non-leaking water bottle... :mal:

Yeah as Claire mentioned this was my setup the year my four came inside for the first time. I removed one of the front doors on the cage by the window so that I had a ramp over the two cages- and slid the door along. The ramp was 2 log bridges joined together using cable ties. The end of the other cage had to be securely cable tied to the roof of the other.
Overall it worked well for me given the space I had :)
