I separated them as they were getting quite stroppy with him, even just coming close to them. I was going to try them again tomorrow , maybe I did the wrong thing :/

I don't think you did the wrong thing, if you don't want to be worrying all night, then you did the right thing, little paddles, instead of going in the deep end straight away!

They've been back together for nearly 2 and a half hours with only a few scuffles. There has been a bit of loud teeth chattering and a stroppy nose off where Edward was separated for about 20 mins to let him calm down. It is mostly Ruby doing the approaching, but Edward backs off from her. Tia has had a few tellings off from Ruby as well, I think they are just sorting the dominance so we'll see.

It sounds normal to me. Trios are tricky as often one gets pushed out.

I think we are almost there. Ruby has approached with no squabbling and they have been sat quietly. I gave Edward a tickle and he started rumbling and his little back leg comes up to try and get me off-too cute! His rumbling got him a nip off both girls, but generally they seem to be calming down and nothing is progressing negatively. I am going to leave them for another hour then start sorting the cage out, i will leave the divider available just in case. X

So glad it's going well, I'll be doing this in a few weeks with my boar thankfully his soon to be wife likes him through the bars and they haven't chattered teeth at each other at any point so fingers crossed it will goes as well as yours has!

I wouldn't say it hasn't been stressful. There is still the odd strop mainly if Edward is in a corner when the girls come over. I am going to sort the cage out now as it will take a little while.
