I wanted to open this thread to prepare myself for bonding the pigs next weekend. For those who don't know, Edward has been living next door to the girls where he can see them, rumble at them and grab their attention/ annoy me by biting on the bars for about 4 weeks now. Edward is incredibly excited and can't wait to be with the girls, both girls have shown no negative behaviours towards him, they are interested in him although I think they are a little bemused with his antics.
They have all met and sniffed each other whilst being held, and again there has been no negative behaviours so I am hopeful that everything should be fine.
I have had a look at most of the behaviour/bonding stickys so I know what I am watching for behaviour wise, I just have a few questions about how to go about the bonding process.
Should I first introduce them on the settee in the living room with less supervision than I have been doing, for about 20 minutes.
Then pop them into a 4ftX2ft run setup in the living room. Do I just pop them all in together and let them get on with it? What hideys do I need? How long should I leave them in the run for, providing there is no negative behaviours?
Thanks
p.s. I'm sure I will think of some more questions as the week goes on.
