I've never really noticed people talking about feeding them mint, but mine love it (after some getting used to!). :)

It grows really easily too, as long as my family don't make me make mint sauce for them too often. rolleyes

I've never heard of feeding mint either, never really thought of it myself. My mum may have done when we had pigs when I was little cos she was always growing mint. Hmm, would be interesting to know...

I use mint - I sprinkle it on top of their dinner like I do with other herbs. Mint is not their favourite herb, but they eat it.

Mine didn't like it at first either, but after trying it a few times, now they love it! My rabbits still won't eat it, but they don't really like herbs for some reason, compared to other veggies. :)

My guinea pigs would eat loads if I let them, but I thought maybe that too much might be bad. :)

Mine like mint. I use it to bribe them to take their medicine.

Mine dont like mint, they sniff at it and then turn their nose up. same happened with basil today as well :(

Mine don't like mint and they wouldn't try basil at first. But I perevered with the basil (as I had bought a pot of it) and they love it now. I started by cutting just a couple of leaves and sprinkling over their other veg. They picked it out at first but after a couple of days they munched it quite happily. Now they eat all the leaves and stalks and it's often one of the first things they pick out. :)

Mixed results here are there are herd members that love it but our caged piggies don't like it at all!
