I'm starting to think Truffles was Liquorice in her previous life. I think she's just so laid back for a baby piggy, yet a tight coil of energy when out on her floor time. She spent tonight shouting the house down for her veg supper, and has a clear favourite which is broccoli.
There's just something about her I can't quite put my finger on...

I must admit I tend to wonder that sometimes, I see a lot of Nigel in both Tim and Fuzzy. Probably clutching straws though.

I have no idea but I see a LOT of Ludwig in Sakurai. So much so I've nicknamed her 'Ludwig's daughter' as an inside joke to myself.

She absolutely loves lap time, the others don't sit still for long, but she can happily snuggle up for quite a while. Liquorice was the last piggy to have been this way :)

I dont dis-believe in re-incarnation... I like to think that all things are possible :) I do believe in the spirit/eternal soul and I am quite prepared to believe you if you say that a beloved deceased pet has returned to you.

I definately believe that animals have souls. How could they not? However I'm not sure some humans do!

I have an odd story which I rarely share ( as people would think I am weird) but does make me believe in reincarnation or the eternal soul theory. I had a stunning horse many years ago, I rescued her from an abusive home and after a year of hell with her (illness, behavioural) we developed the most amazing bond and we're inseparable. She sadly had to be pts 7 years later when she broke her leg in an accident and I was distraught and missed her to an unbearable point for many years.

15 years later, I got my first pair of guineas. I was walking around a pet shop (yes I know..I knew no better then) and this little black guinea came over bold as brass. I picked her up, then put her back and she literally followed me along the cage. I went back half an hour later and she did the same. It was so odd but vv cute! I bought her and her friend.

This little guinea was amazing! She was v sick throughout her life but lived for over 7 years, in that time she demonstrated an uncanny resemblance in behaviour and personality to my horse, so similar it was frightening! Again, we developed a massive bond and she would almost prefer to be with me rather than her herd. We adored each other.

I miss her terribly now she has gone but not in a bad way as she died of old age when it was her time. I feel at peace with the way my horse died as well now. It was almost as if my horse's soul had come back where she left off, to see things to the end properly.

I know it's a weird story and you can take it as you will. I am not spiritual really, not massively religious but I do always think about this and those two beautiful friends who perhaps were one soul?

We see a lot of Piglet in The Beanies. Piglet was the most mischievous grumpy old man I ever new. Perkins has his grumpy side and Pinky has his naughty side. It's as though his personality was so big that it had to be shared by two skinnypig brothers.
Piglet was the inspiration for Guinea Pig Magazine.

quite often When a piggy dies in your herd one or some of the remaining piggies will take on some of its departed friends characterists . freaky but comforting.
