I'm currently trying to watch The Duchess, and have a relaxing evening in whilst the family is out....however every five minutes or so there is a huge 'CRUNCH CRUCH CRUNCH' and I miss what the folks on the film are saying.

After removing the cardboard box from Percy Roos run, I then settle for some peace and quite.

Oh no no no....ten minutes later...

'Twing Twang Clang Twing'

Percy likes to chew on the bars to get my attention, so off i go and return with a handful of veggies, and scatter them in the run.

Ahhh now I can finally return to the film....right? I'm only fifteen minutes into the film yet I've been sat on the settee for a good half hour.{:|

Ten minues later.....

'Wheek wheek wheeek'.

I finally give in, remove Percy from the run and plonk him on my lap (alongside the Taz) which goes well.... for twenty minutes....and then the snoring competition begins between Taz and Percy.

I give in. I am not meant to watch a movie tonight! rolleyes

:))

Ahahaha! This did make me laugh, it's like having a small child in the room :)), and you asked me where i got my noisy ball from rolleyes! is P-Roo not in his hutch outside anymore? x

:(|):(|):(|) inbreeding

You love them for it too don't you?! ^)

They just wanted cuddles!
I have the same problem, their houses are right next to my sofa. A couple of springs went in the sofa seat furtherest away which I usually sit on so I had to switch sides until I could get it repaired. Sat down to watch a programme and they all decided they were thirsty at once, I had the sound of water bottles and Hector and Matilda playing a very vocal kiss chase in my ear!

Caractacus (now at the bridge) loved watching all sorts of football. Don't know why, but if it was on and he couldn't see from his cage, he used to wheek and wheek until I lifted him out onto my lap. He was defo a Liverpool fan - more excited about them than any other team - rotfl

rolleyes

Lol, I have that problem with the pup, he'll be lying on the fireplace (the fire isn't on!) and you'll think sweet, I can actually watch the TV now! You settle down, quiet as possible and next thing you know Mr Prince wants some attention, and he ain't going anywhere until he gets it!xox

It is exactly that! No Percys indoors whilst hes recovering from his neutering op...and hes loving every minute! :))

(Oh and yes, Percy has also had his noisey cat balls taken away from him- noisey pig!)

Hahahahahaahhahaa! (and Awwwwwww! for the piggles) I've found my new water bottle is really quiet, its one of those glass ones with a ducky in? They're so quiet! wonderful :))

Oh my this made me giggle so much! Maybe he wanted to be a footie player? :)) Bless him!

Typical puppy! My dogs the same she'll stare at you until you allow her for a "cuddle" on your lap- infact you just make a wonderfully cuddley seat to sit on whilst she watches TV.....

My piggies are obviously very talented as that's what they'e got as well. They certainly manage to make them noisey! :))

Frankkie pig is also one of the most vocal pigs in the land! I started working out in the piggies' room (access to DVD player whilst OH watches whatever is on the sky+ box ).
So I'm in full cardio- combat flow - jab-jab-hook - and there's Mr fluffy wheek wheek wheek, ears flapping like demented cabbage leaves and me struggling to listen to the instructions....

well i have 2 new female piggys and they didnt really know theyre names so they were born in feb of this year so i figured that it was normal but they know we protect them ans things but every time i walk in the rom tey run in the igloos! but when i run in a watch tv they sqeak and popcorn and die for attention!xx>>>8)

:)) :)) :))

I have a pig (Thelma) who has OCD when it comes to the waterbottles and is always drinking (I have had her checked out for diabetes, UTI etc) So all you hear while your trying to watch the tv is clack, clack, clack.

I tried to watch Die Hard last night while my boys were running around, one of them decided to have a little adventure and crawl under the tv stand (I thought they were too fat to fit under). So then I had to try and coax him out before he ate all the lovely wii wires, I tried holding his brother near it and all he did was squeak "Hello" from under the tv, so then I went on youtube and played lots of videos of squeaking pigs.

He'd come running out to find all the pigs then get suspicious and run back under. He finally ran to the other side of the room I blocked off the tv stand and grabbed him. He was very grumpy once captured. rolleyes

Oh, this is exactly why the movie companies put closed captioning on their films! My dogs don't wrestle until I'm watching a movie! (And they don't bark for treats unless I am talking on the telephone!) What cute little stories; I really will have to get a friend for Red so that he can have some noisy fun.

all I can hear at the moment is the clang of a bell inside one of their toys :)p

I watched a film last night... with my boys totally kerplunked on their fleecey beds... zzz zzz zzz zzz

It is not Misty that you have to look out for, it's Puck the hamster! He sleeps in our room and I made the mistake of buying him a crinkle tunnel that makes a noise mallethead He has a silent wheel which is a definite but also has a habit of banging things on purpose when he wants attention! 4am this morning, thanks Puck! mallethead

When I had all 3 of my guinea girls and they slept in our room in our old house they used to take it in turns to bang the hay rack in the night as they knew that I would give them hay/treats if only to shut them up! {:|
