Do 2 guinea pigs need seperate hidey houses?

I am wondering whether I will need to houses for 2 piggys, I have one large hidey house and a few tunnels for 1 piggy if I add an extra piggy will they sleep in the same house or will one sleep in the tunnel? Do I need another wooden house (it's the large rabbit house from pets at home)

@Kindness Two hideys are generally better so they're not forced into the same one. See how they feel about the tunnels, one might like staying in there.

My two will go into one if they are forbed but they scrap in this situation and daisy is usually forced into the log house by hazel

I would have two of everything, especially if they are boars.

I go on the basis of one sleepy place for each piggy, mine sometimes share but often don't (and if they do share they prefer to share the hay pile rather than a hide). They will also do this weird waltons thing - 2 inside carrot house, one on roof one in sack beside it or under ramp outside.

When I introduced a 3rd piggie, my other sow started crying because the new piggie was in the spare fleece tunnel and she couldn't go anywhere...another fleece tunnel solved the problem!

My lot all love to cram under their dolls beds from ikea. Each bed is easily big enough for two. I also have an extra wooden den so that all seven have somewhere to sleep.

Definitely yes if they're boars. My boys can easily fit under one of the step stools I use as hideys, but they'll only share one if they're spooked by something, like if I start playing country music from the 1990s. Otherwise, Oti will kick Dobbins out of whichever hidey he wants to use at that particular moment. But since there's another hidey Dobbins just goes to the other one and peace is maintained.
