distilled water?

I choose not to filter water, I avoid single use plastic if I can and I just can’t justify the plastic etc in filters. They can be recycled but I prefer to avoid altogether. Touch wood no calcium related problems here but we do need to replace the kettle too often and my shower screen looks frosted when it isn’t 😂

i see! yes i know theres so such plastic waste isn’t there😔 we don’t drink tap water and was using bottled water for a bit and thats why we got a distiller because it was too much plastic waste! thats good, fingers crossed it stays that way! haha

Single-use plastic is a worry here too, I did see an advert the other day for a water filter with a refillable filter part but didn't get a chance to look into it. Hopefully this is good sign and the rest of the market will follow!

that sounds great!

You can at least recycle the filters at large supermarkets. I take mine to Tesco. There will always be something …..
I was a bit neurotic when I got my boys. But gradually you relax and understand that everything you do , re weighing, hay, water etc contributes to a healthy piggy. As long as every day is a fun day full of hay and veg and they are kept clean, then you cannot do anymore but you are giving your piggies the best days ever 🥰
