One of my piggys had 2 mamory tumours removed and made a full recovery but we didn't adopt her until she had had the surgery via the rescue.. so I don't really have any information on symptoms etc.. all the best
Do you think it’s a safe surgery?

she was so 3 meds for one month as the first doctor said it’s mammary inflammation but I just don’t feel confident about giving her meds for such a long time. So I stopped it and now i am just monitoring the lump to see if it grows then I will visit some more doctors(finding experienced vets is a big challenge here ) but i am trying my best.
Her lump is under her nipple and its not a hard mass its a but soft and its composed if two 2 small balls type thing;( I feel) was your piggie’s lump like this?
I have no experience of treating lumps with medication, but I know that abscesses are often treated initially using antibiotics such as Baytril (Enrofloxacin) and Zithromax (Azithromycin). Azithromycin is definitely the most effective. Neither of my vets suggested meds for my pig's lump. Which meds did your piggy have? Some members have had pigs on Loxicom (anti inflammatory) for conditions such as arthritis for months or even a year or two. Other meds may be okay for longer than a few weeks too, if they are doing their job, I don't know for sure though.

My pig's lump was under a nipple too. It was just a single lump, and I think it was fairly hard. The second vet said that the fact that the stuff inside was thick and difficult to extract with a needle, suggested it was a tumour, but as I said previously, it turned out to be something else.

The medicines he gave for her are: enrofloxacin( 1 ml twice a day) , meloxicam(.2 ml once a day) , Avil(Raj CPM) -( 2 ml twice a day)
This reduced her swelling but not the lump the lump is still there or possibly might have increased
Another doctor said that the medicines have been going on for too long which is not good for her so we stopped it now. Honestly now its just one doctor’s word against other and I just want her to be safe ofcourse idk whose advice to listen to :((

she does a lump though but what kind I don’t know
Its pretty visible under the nipple
