Dental procedure recovery

That is good news. 😊 It gives Cookie his best chance x
Now you've just got to find someone to look after Teddie till you all get back home!
I'm so pleased with how everything has come together. Just desperate to keep him going until he can be seen, little duck. Sometimes I think he seems so fed up, but then he'll have a good spell and I have hope again....
Teddie is being looked after by a friend ❤️

Just thought I would update on Cookie. I had 2 very stressful weeks of syringe feeding every 2 hours for 4 days and then regular day feeding for the rest of the time. Fabulous Debbie from TEAS had arranged for me to take Cookie to Northampton on 6th May while I went on holiday and while he was awaiting his appointment with Simon. I had to take Cookie to another local vet for another procedure the day before going to Northampton to sort his canines out as they were such a state after the first procedure and I couldn't bear the noise they were making when he was being syringe fed. Poor boy 😔
He's now been with Debbie for just over 2 weeks. He's had a procedure with Simon and been on antibiotics. He's now eating normally and awaiting another appointment and will hopefully be home very soon. Debbie has looked after him amazingly well. Without her, Cookie would not still be here. I can't wait to have him home ❤️

Paws crossed (and fingers) that Cookie now goes from strength to strength and he is home with you very soon. Well done Debbie!

He's eating more efficiently and faster than my boy who has his teeth sorted on Wednesday last week! I think he must be feeling so much more comfortable, that's absolutely fantastic news! 👏

Oh Cookie! How wonderful to see you tucking in after all your struggles 💕
Well done @Lynne G and @furryfriends (TEAS) for your sterling efforts.
Did you find out what was wrong in the first place?
There was maloclusion but at the 3rd procedure (the one done by Simon) he still filed down some more at the back. But he's also been on antibiotics as Debbie/Simon suspected an abscess......and he seems to have massively improved since starting the meds. I can't believe he is back to eating normally with no syringe feeds. I'm absolutely delighted. Debbie has sent me so many little videos charting his improvement and it's been wonderful to see. He's cost me a fortune (mainly unnecessarily because of things not being done right in the first place) but he's worth it ❤️

It's just wonderful to see him eating naturally again ❤️

I can tell you the shock of the bill is cushioned by the love of the guinea pig that's been helped x
