Dennis has lost weight

That had crossed my mind, yes but they still on speaking terms. As I said earlier I don't really want to separate them. There has been no fighting or anything and the atmosphere is good there is no tension or anything like that.
 
After Dennis saw the dentist, the eye specialist, the ear and nose specialist, the heart and lung specialist, the stomach specialist and the genital specialist he thanked the vet by pooping on the examination table so she examined those too :D . I was told he was a very healthy piggy and there was nothing wrong with him. If he continues to lose weight I have to take him back for a whiff of anaesthetic so that the back teeth can be examined properly but from what she could see there was nothing wrong with his teeth. I must say I was very impressed by her thoroughness. She took a good 15-20 minutes to examine Dennis to the point that poor old Dennis (who hates the vet anyway) was trying to do a Kamakaze jump of the table to get away from all the poking and prodding!
 
Well that's good news. Maybe it will resolve itself in time. One of my skinny pigs weight can be a bit up and down (by 70/80 grammes) for no apparent reason.
 
Brilliant, pleased he's looking great. Sounds like a very good vet to do such a thorough check over of the gorgeous lad. Hope you can get the weight back on him.

Yes, that’s what Ted was like on Monday, he didn’t take to her at all. Better behaved on Tuesday but a bit fed up with being poked and prodded. Glad Dennis got a clean bill of health x
 
Glad Dennis seems ok but it must be quite frustrating if you the vet can't work out a cause for the weight loss after all those health checks! Jezzy floof's weight goes up and down by about 60 or 70g some weeks and I've no idea why, but if Dennis is small he doesnt have much to spare... sending healing wheeks, oats, apples and sweet potatoes, they might fix things! And Clover could send him a spare 150g of voluptuous bum fat without missing it, I think she's been comfort-eating since her run-in with Tallulah bat-hippo...
 
Aw, he really is such a little cutie x glad he’s tucking in and enjoying his sweet potato and oats x

Dennis would love to meet Clover! He likes fat bottomed girls! And his favourite food in the whole wide world is apple:drool: so he'll be happy to know that they may come off ration.

I've missed this thread and I'm sorry.
Great new about vets today and Dennis is ok and getting on.

He loved his breakfast until I got the others out. Bully Boy Christian had most of what Dennis left so I gave Dennis some grass and Christian came to have that too. I put the grass in 2 different places and Christian couldn't be in 2 places at once so Dennis got to have his grass in peace. I have been watching them over the last day or so and Christian definitely pushes Dennis out if there is nice food around. Christian wouldn't dare tell the girls where to go but he does with Dennis. There is still no fighting or any bad atmosphere. I think Dennis has settled as the bottom of the herd now where it used to be Meg. I also am now convinced Christian is now top pig with Velvet 2nd in command but Velvet can still give as good as she gets and I'm pretty sure she still has the final word. Dennis was holding his own this morning with the girls until Christian came along and Dennis just made sure he wasn't in the same space as Christian. Tonight all 5 were all scoffing down veg together quite happily.

Aw, poor little Dennis, at least you can make sure he gets his fair share of veggies. I suppose someone has to be bottom piggie :hmm:

Piggy politics! Maybe they could get us all a sensible vote on Brexit, at least piggies know what they want and who's in charge :)

Dennis says thanks for your loyalty and reminding him of the call for new members. There are a lot of them that need to join! I shall tell him now and I'm sure he will look up his thread and ask for new members a bit later.

Well I must say thank you gorgeous Dennis and @Betsy as after your pic earlier my Rupert and Jess very much enjoyed a bit of grated sweet potato too as had some in :) and no bloatyness from Rupert so a new food to add to the list without issues!
(Thanks to you too @PigglePuggle, also tried beansprouts a couple of days ago with no issues, did think of you! Never tried either before, no idea why!)
