Am I the only loony that does this? ie not just cutting it into cubes, but actually removing the string?

I just wondered how people do it, if it isn't just me. It takes me a while, although it's oddly satisfying! :red:(|)

Well.. depends what you call ages really! :)) Takes a few minutes I guess. I'm quite obsessive over it now though - I want every last string gone! :red:(|)

Feel like a bad mother now - I don't de-string it! Oh dear.

People think I'm mad because I cut out the bruised bits from apples before giving them to the guineas - of the 'they're only animals' mentality, but I think if I wouldn't eat it, neither should they!

I destring! But only for certain piggies who won't touch it otherwise rolleyes I also find it oddly calming :)

I do the same thing! ;)

and mine won't eat celery :))

I don't think strings are a problem unless they are long! I just cut into small pieces (smaller than I would for even putting in a meal for me!) I like to be safe but couldn't be bothered de-stringing. If I had to do that I wouldn't even bother to let them have it :))
