I have a chunky sow of 2 years, who is healthy and happy. She has a lump in her back with a centre which seems to ooze a very small amount of yellow fluid. The lump is about the size of a 5p piece. It doesn’t appear to bother her at all. She also is inclined to drink much more than the others in her herd. Should I be concerned?

Please do have her checked by a vet.
Any lump requires a hands on check, but one that is oozing definitely is of concern.

The amount they drink varies with each piggy - some drinking more than others without there being a problem. However I’d there is a change in normal drinking habits (suddenly drinking more or less than normal) then that should always be checked out as there are some medical conditions which cause excessive drinking
