Cress

I have tried my 2 with salad cress and they ate some but then weren't too fussed with it. I will try them again though but only in small amounts. I just sprinkled a little on the top of their veg, almost like we would with our salad.

Is salad cress the same as water cress? I give it to my girls when I buy bags of mixed lettuce / mixed salad for them. They almost always leave it for the very last thing to eat, and sometimes even then won't eat it. Don't seem to like it much.

I think salad cress and water cress are different. Water cress is more leafy but salad cress is small and you normally buy it still growing in a clear tub.

No

My food recycling is a lot more than it was before the piggies entered my life...I cannot get them to eat peppers. They loved them once...but their currently favourite food is cucumber and peas in pods.

My boys love pepper, they used to just put their teeth round it then ignore it, but now they munch away. However, Duncan seems to have gone off lettuce, which is a huge bother. Still, he may fancy it tomorrow.
Oh, what we go through for our piggies:P

Carrots! My two live the leafy green tops from carrots. I'm sick of eating the actual carrots after they have had the leaves...I sound like Buggs Bunny

Sorry was chatting, I didn't mean to be abrupt.
They can have watercress as well but I think that's very peppery. Trouble is you buy all this stuff then they won't eat it. I need a rabbit to have all the bits me piggies won't eat.
:lol!:
Don't count on that! My rabbits are fussier than my pigs! :-P
