Correx questions

The grids have just arrived! Now I need the cable ties to hurry up and get here, I am hoping the piggies will be in before xmas!
 
Well I have clearly established why engineering was not my career path! It has not been a pleasant experience putting it together and I realised that I have another bit to change! Heaven knows what a state I will be in trying to fit the correx!
 
it is hard at first but they do get easier its worth it tho, you will have some rrally happy pigs:))

Took me best part of a day to do it but that did include redesigning it several times especially after I saw how huge it was!
I've got the 2mm correx from Teacrate, it was cheap and does the job but I'm not sure how long it will last as it is a bit flimsey.
I used the measurements on guineapig cages to cut my correx, much easier than measureing.
 
I am slightly horrified at how large it is! Obviously I want my piggies to have max space but I would have liked to have had space for people too in the room!
 
They do take up a lot of room bt you can stack them to give them more space but take up less, this is one way i had it so i could pull out the door at the bottom to give them a run. i am going back to this cage when the foster pigs go back its 2x4 2x4 2x2

It doesn't look like you have used the connectors at all, did you just use cable ties?
 
I don't like the connector's, they are not good for extra level's and they are difficult to put on sometime's. you do have to put them in key places he puts them diagonally so they dont slide

The ties are here and I am just trying to source correx/corotherm at the moment, hoping I will get it at the weekend?
