I'm wanting to get my two girls (Corky and Pickle) and two boys (Captain and Jaffa) checked over, not showing any symptoms of anything just thought it would be worth getting them checked over as they've never been checked since I adopted them and maybe nails cut. Does anyone know how much it would cost for all four, consultation and nail cutting at companion care Vets at pets at home?

My Vets4Pets charges around £35 per consultation per piggy. Not sure about nails as I do those myself.

Ours charge £21 per piggy for a vet check and nail trim, or £9 just for a nail trim with the nurse...

Ours charge about £28 for a consultation, for nail trims though if you get a nurse to do it rather than a vet it will be much cheaper :)

Vets vary widely. Even franchises have different prices so unless someone goes to the exact one you are considering I'm afraid this thread won't be as helpful as you'd like. The easiest way is to give them a call and ask, they will be more than willing to advise on costs.

Are there any non petshop vets in your area? My independent vets practice here in Solihull charges £16 for a small pet consultation. Though I've only ever taken one at a time, so I don't know how much they would charge for four piggies at once.

The independent vet I looked at cost £31 which is only £2 cheaper than what they quoted me at pets at home. But I'm giving both a call tomorrow to double check!
