Cold weather on the way *brrrr*

I went outside to put the recycling out while the Snugglesafes were being done and the bins were frozen closed again

It's forecast to be -4 tonight (-6 earlier) here, but no snow or anything like that. Below zero every night until Friday too. The piggies have the heater in their room and I've given them extra hay too so I hope they'll remain cosy.

We're due snow later at work, I'll be putting my car in the gritter garage in the warm. They'll be out working

Then it snowed

Snow stopped and sun has come out

Just a very heavy frost here. We looked out this morning to see a fox curled up sound asleep on the grass in a tiny patch of sun. Poor thing must have been frozen but it's red fur looked beautiful on the white ground. It must have been hungry to be driven this far into the housing estate out of the surrounding fields, glad I've got indoor piggies! Wish we'd managed to get a photo but it was off as soon as we stepped outside.
