Specialist Cocoa Poorly Lip And Congested. Pls Help. Photos

I went from 5 to 3 piggies in the space of 2 weeks this summer. It’s taken seversl weeks of adjustments to the shopping and chopping routines.
Heidi and Chloe will be quieter than normal for a little while. Then, in true guinea pig fashion, they will pick up their daily lives and get back to the business of eating , wheeking and pooping as normal.
Cocoa is at peace now. You get used to their little routine, but now Dave, it’s time to get used to your own routine again before the illness took hold. You have many beautiful memories to treasure her by.

So sorry that I have only just seen this thread.
Thank you for sharing the story of your precious girl, it has been an honor to read it. She was such a special girl who had so much love around her, both from her humans and her devoted friends. She was such a strong piggie who really enjoyed life.
She will be truly missed. RIP and popcorn free Cocoa.
Massive hugs to you Dave at this sad time x

I'm ok but very sad.
I know Cocoa died being shrouded with love and her mates doing amazing beautiful things in her final hours.
I've taken her to local vets to be cremated and I'm having her ashes back to put with Pedro.
I cryed so much at the vets I struggled after 1 final kiss goodbye.
Heidi and Chloe are very quiet tonight and it's very noticable so. . but they have eaten some. xx

My heartfelt sympathy to you and Heidi and Chloe , Dave. I had tears in my eyes following this on Saturday and Sunday.
It's good that Cocoa was at home peaceful with her friends piggy and human looking after her. She landed on her paws when she found you.

I cried at the vets too, when I collected Zebedee back in March. I was so emotional that I had to get my son to drive me there, and it was very hard wrapping him up in his blanket to hand to the pet crematorium people 2 days later :(:bye:

This photo I was going to keep personal but I think it's too beautiful not to. it was taken same night she died. few mill seconds we seen Heidi kissing her eye

Was it a photo from the potteries rescue website?
I know i seen a photo from the guinea pig magazine with your 3 girls on... @Dindypig @Guinea Pig Magazine may have a copy? Or you could buy a back copy with the photo in it.... Afraid I can't remember the issue number-but it was just as you got them date wise.
I'm not really quite sure how I've missed so much of this thread, but my thoughts are with you still.
I hope you're ok & the pain of losing gorgeous Cocoa to rainbow Bridge is easing a little?
Big hug from the girls & I. Xx

@David Pet Lover is it/was it any of the above photos? I did take quite a few of these ladies while they were with me. If it is different one you want, can you try to describe and I will search my phone for you.

Vicki. it was the above 2. and sods law I find it after I put the post on. you gave me 15/16 months with these 3 and yes I would have loved a normal piggie and remain with a loved human but I was not allowed it.
I loved fighting Cocoa battle and i had a reason to as she deserved the chance with her wonderful way.
Thank you for photos. I have thousands and lol 60% off Cocoa I have gained a lot in last two years about these creatures and yet know little. only last night at bed time. Florence gave me the loudest SQUEAK I've ever heard her whole body breathes in and gave me a blast. Why I've no idea but she's jumped head 1st into sleepy mode.
Crazy piggie but we are the crazy ones for loving them. Thank you again.
