Hey piggy lovers
How you all doing? Well its now November and Christmas is approaching rather quickly.
What are you all doing for Christmas day and what you buying everyone?

I have no idea what to buy people this year and neither do I know what I want as Hubby has already asked me lol!

I have seen this gorgeous piggy calendar though :(|)
What do you think to it?

I am maybe going to parents but need to see what Ross wants to do too. If we do go he is making a vegan roast to take with us. Will miss all my furbabies all day though.

I love love love chistmas! 12 of my family end up at one house for dinner and drinks and games :) this year it's my cousin's turn which works better for her since she has a baby now! My godson is gorgeous and it's his first christmas.

Present-wise:

Mum and dad - marks and spensers vouchers
Boyfriend - one little present for each of the five senses
Godson - a fabric noisy book :)
Friends - various bits and bobs
Piggies - lots of toys and treats!
Bunny - toys and treats :)

---

that is a bizarre calendar 0.o funny though :))

i cant wait :) as we're now in our own place me and OH will be spending christmas day at home on our own with the animals :) and then going to see all the parents on boxing day.

I have no idea what i want for christmas but have done over half my shopping :) just have to organise him now :))

Not sure what is happening Christmas day yet as OH will probably have changed jobs by then but I always like to be at home on Christmas day with the furries, and more so this year now that Jules is no longer with us, so usually there will be about 9 of us or if my brother and his partner come itll be 11 - I love cooking for lots of people though you should see the mess of the kitchen haha rolleyes - the good thing is I have never cooked a turkey as our friend that joins us every year for Christmas cooks it :))

Present wise I have made a list now just need to find the pennies to do it all though might make a start on writing the cards this week :(|) x

We got given that calender last year from the OH little sister....it is a strange calender LOL!

I find christmas pretty boring. I go to my parents for xmas so just me, mum, dad and my brother. My OH is from Belfast so he goes home to be with his family. This is our 4th christmas where we don't get to see each other on xmas day. Our families celebrate Xmas very very very differently and I know I would not be able to relax at his house. He gets on really well with my family but his parents would be offended if he didn't go home. So I don't really enjoy xmas.....what a scrooge!

Presents wise....I will decide after all my coursework is done and exams are done!

Ooh I LOVE christmas x)x)
My bf is going to cook a huge 3 course dinner at my house.
I've bought all my shopping except a few bits and bobs for my kids.

Thanks lol I've been saving since January and buying bits & bobs along the way too, I'd do anything for my family and friends (as would most people) and I see this as my way of thanking the people in my life for the things they do for me.
I'd be lost with out my family and I'm really greatfull to them for the things they do to help me out.
Ooh forgot to say I've bought my dogs some squeakies and doggie selection boxes and my piggies have got lots of different nibbely bits & bobs.

Hi :)
I'm going to make Christmas dinner for my parents for the first time. And here I am 35 years old! lol.
I made Christmas dinner for my inlaws and thought it's time I do this for my side of the family. I'm looking forward to decorating the house and getting all ready.

NOt sure what to do about gifts yet though as they just had their birthdays!

xmas day we go to my parents and my mum cooks,we visit my sister afterwards

i prefer boxing day i dont have to see any family :)) we just chill out all day eating junk :))

I am most likely working all Christmas, night shift. However I have some lovely plans made.

I will definitely be going to visit my sisters at some point and me and a very close friend, who is like a sister and who recently very nearly died (it is miracle she survived) are busy planning. She is going to Edinburgh for Christmas so we are having "Christmas minus 8" on the 17th December we are having Christmas dinner, a few drinks, going to the panto and exchanging presents.

Sounds like you have all got some lovely plans for Christmas.
I tend to have mixed feelings at this time of year though, I feel really happy to be with my hubby and his family but I do feel upset as I dont see mine.

I am not on speaking terms with my mum or dad really so dont see or hear from them and my other family members all do their own thing too.

I was bought up by my Auntie and Uncle who I see as my parents and I spend some time with them usually on Boxing day or just visit to drop off presents etc.
So I do find it a little hard, I am so thankful to have my hubby and his family who really look after me too.
Not entirely sure what we are doing Christmas day, we may be spending it at my mother in laws or possibly ours.
And hopefully going to have my auntie and uncle here for boxing day. x

Aww chick that must be hard for you but I'm sure your husband and his family are fantastic and now your married they're your family too.
My mum doesn't really speak to some members on her side because of things said and done.
Hope you have a great christmas with your special loved ones x

I don't know what my family is doing for christmas this year. Possibly at mine or my sisters.

As for gifts, I've bought a few already.

Mother: I bought her some hiking shoes she really wanted. Cost me £40. I wanted to spoil her because of all she has done for me.
Dad: Inglorious *******s and some large panatoni cake.
Brother: Undecided
Nephew: I'm sure I can buy him any toy and he'll love it.
Sister: Really soft Panda plushie with a Panda necklace
Sisters partner: Nothing yet.

We have decided to do things differently this year, usually we meet my family for brunch have dinner at home with family here or at families and then in the evening we go to OHs family.

We have decided though this year to have people here throughout the day and then just have dinner as the three of us so we can stay in xmas night and relax with our pressies and the beasts :)

I have got a lot of my shopping in already just the tricky ones left to get :(

As I am working Christmas day/Boxing Day, I think every so often I will add a Bah Humbug to this thread!

Well hopefully my brother and sis in law coming down from New South Wales x) and BIG maybe their eldest son and his girlfriend whom i've not met might come too YAYYYYYYYYYY
My Dad will be here and then it will depend on my eldest if he's not working, but otherwise my second son and daughter will be here. I have put away some money already for the kids but haven't started my list yet :{:... which in our family is rather large cause of all the rellies :))
Going do tradional unless it's hot, then it will be cook the meats the day before and have loads of salads etc.. !

And (some of you may remember this..) i also at work answer the phone with a Christmas theme each year :))

So far

Ive got my mum a figurine of her three guinea pigs (who are hand painted to their exact colours) from the winking cavy store .. and some burts bees stuff

and my sister a knitted jumper that she wanted

Still need to buy for my brother, dad, boyfriend wants some new gym gloves and swimming goggles and ill get him something else, and some stuff for a few more people and my guinea pigs, horses and dog :)

I haven't bought any christmas presents yet:(:{

We are going for a pub christmas lunch this year, with my mum, dad, hubad, kids and sister and her boys:))

Best thing about christmas for me, apart from presents is getting a real tree and decorating it.

it is very hard hun but I'm just so grateful I have a lovely husband who looks after me so much.
my mum is such a cow bag, last xmas she jetted off to spain with my 7 year old sister and didnt tell anyone she was going, my sisters dad was fuming as he didnt know she had took off, I was not happy either as i didnt get to see my sister. x

I really dont know what to get hubby this xmas, he likes his cars and is a wolves fan too but not a clue where i could get football tickets from.

Hope someone can help maybe lol :(|)

I have just posted the Xmas boxes to my sister and brother - both of their families have at least one birthday in November/December too so posting everything together in one big box works out a lot cheaper!

Having done that, next it's the overseas Xmas cards and then after that I will sit back and do nothing for a while!

Christmas this year is at home with my hubby, romantic and nice. Xmas eve we'll go to York to get into the minster and see the children's mass where they all dress up and the chap in the pulpit occasionally says thing like 'can I have the camels at the front please' which always cracks me up. I get to sing carols too which I love. (No children of my own)

Wishing everyone a very merry Xmas in advance, especially the bah humbug people who have to work!

I am working over Christmas, but I'm getting there with my Christmas shopping. I am popping to a Christmas market though next month to find my Christmas magic, although how corny that sounds.
