New Born Pup
Good day, I have two guinea pigs with cheilitis.
I took the to the vet and she prescribed antibiotics named "Baytril". They did work for a while but now the cheilitis is back again to both of them.
In relation to the diet, I triy to limit acidic fruits like apple or tomatoes to once a week. Their diet consist mainly of grass, pepper, fennel, carrots, cucumbers, salad, and some occasional treats (products based on a variety of fruits such as bananas, pineapples...).
They have a decent quality hay, available and clean water which strangely they don't drink very often, very rarely.
The vet doesn't seem to know what exactly to do, any advice is very appreciated.
Below the 2 guinea pigs, sorry for bad quality.
