cat grass to grow

:smitten: Hi I was at the store and I found something called cat grass. It says you can grow it and is safe for your cat. I bought some thinking it would be fun for my kids to grow. And since it is winter time fun for the Piggy's to eat. Well it has grown but is it safe to give to them? Has anyone done this thing?Please tell me your thoughts..

I am not sure about cat grass maybe save that for the cats and go pick some normal grass from the garden and feed the piggies that

Planet Guinea has a shop attached to it with seeds to grow for guineas. They come with information sheets too. The Cereal grasses would be the easiest for your children to grow with grass in less than 10 days. Plantain is also good for growing indoors.

I would recommend the Planet Guinea grass too - much cheaper than the cat grass to buy.
