exactly what my two doI have some with a loft but this is only because of space issues, my pigs only use it to sleep in and spend the rest of the time running around on the flat.
our 2 chins are in a 4ft by 6ft cage.huge. all in all our chins cost about £ 50 pounds a month to keep in food, chews ( they love to chew) as their incisors and molars continously grow and enrichment. They have a minimum of 5 hours interaction a day and need to be cleaned out twice a day too. They suffer alot with URI, UTI and the awful Maloclusion which unfortunately is genetic in some chins. They really are sensitive animals if you ever consider it please please do ALOT of research. It's hearbreaking to see so many being given up amd its always stated " because we can't give them the time they deserve" Makes me mad I work 60 hrs a week and my hubby 37 and we manage to give 8 hours each to our chins and pigs and walk and spent time with our dog!Aww bless them! I would love some as I don't work and have loads of spare time but it depends if I could afford the basics baring in mind my pigs eat 1kg of hay a week (1kg is £4) oh and my boys aren't fat! Hah x plus 20 years! Wow that's along time for such a small animal hahah x I don't know where I'll be in 20 years so maybe not for me right now haha x thx or the advice and facts tho!

I'm no piggie expert but I'm pretty knowledgeable when it comes to Chins and their health/lives. Happy to help anytime with that. Anyway now I must stop dominating this thread/forum with chin talk all hail the PiggiesHahahaha and of course I would do research haha x I always do when rescuing new pets! Haha health checks every day haha x my pigs cost £50 a month ahaha x I love animals though and would always give them my very best effort x chinchillas obviously need a lot of care! At the min I will not be rescuing any chins but possibly in the very late future hah x
