I think I have narrowed it down to 2 but really can't decide.
A pull out tray would make it easy to clean. But do they break and warp in cold & hot weather?
But the long legs on the other hutch could be better for my back and safer from other garden visitors cats etc.

Any thoughts welcome should be going to the rescue centre to get the 2 piggys next week. Very excited!

I personally like pull out trays. The hutch that we have with one has been fine so far (we've had it since last August). Our other hutch doesn't have one, but I have lined it with lino, which makes it alot easier to clean and disinfect.

Thank you, Her Nibship
Going to go for the Summerhouse because of the tray and is slightly cheap and in the winter it can be stored in the garage whilst the piggys are in there nice C&C cage that I have yet to build.
It's all exciting stuff........

I'm having my hutch made and I'm gonna put lino on floors as people have said it will be easier to clean

Will they have a run?!? Why don't u buy a two tiered hutch?!

This is a 2 tiered one that has pull out trays and is an ok price

I like the last one the best as it is the biggest! If j bought that and got a decent sized run you will have very happy piggies x
Think of everything u need in the cage! Food bowls, toys, houses, hay etc

Check out my thread: DIY piggie toys
It's in the basic care section!

I hope u find the perfect hutch in the end!

Thank you for reply. have just ordered the summerhouse one. They will have a nice run 5ftx3ft and I work part time so they can be in it quite a bit during the day. It was hard to choose a hutch but hope this one is of solid build. Think its going to be harder to choose a pair of piggy's from the rescue centre to. Both pairs are very cute....

Aww good luck haha x a 5ft by 3ft run will be a good size I think! My pigs have 2 hutches that when they are conjoined together make a 20ft hutch I'll send u pigtures through a convo if u want to see their set up
x

Wow a 20ft hutch! I'm starting small and then when my husbands not looking build a big C&C cage in the kitchen.

Haha c and c cages are amazing I would have had one if my dog didn't mind my pigs... How big would u get it?!? If I was buy ping a C&C cage I would have a 6 by 5 with a 2 by 2 loft haha wht are u thinking of

We bought a second hand hutch with a pull out tray for our 2 rabbits. The plastic tray is a little warped but I think it's more likely that the previous owner tried to clean it using boiling water.

Just a tip I have alot of experience with pull out trays and I find that pee gets stuck behind where it slides out...lino is a better option..or if you can cover the tray with lino and over the back, but then this can hinder the slide action. In colder/damper weather they can swell.. if you are building a c&c just let them live in the house perm ;) and buy a run for summer so they can graze? I have skinnies so they are always inside so maybe biased but I cant stand the thought of any of my pets living outside lol

I will see how we get on with the hutch with the tray this summer(fingers crossed). We have a through lounge with a gate across the middle and the dog has one end when we are out so I think he will have to learn to share. So a 2 storey C&C cage set up could be the way forward. :D

Haha thx for taking my advice about a two leveled C&C cage it is defiantly better than level as it helps their back legs get stronger ill post an image of a two tiered C&C cage for u x
This is massive I would try this one!

This is also nice but a little bit smaller!

I personally like the first one as it is a lot bigger! I'm not considering buying one... Hehe x

Hope I helped x

Oh and about the slide out trays. I thought I would use mine all of the time but I've never used mine once x u have to clean the hutch out first or it all falls behind the tray and onto the ground x u will no wht I mean when yours arrives. Personally I think they are made for disinfecting x

No Ik there's no evidence but I think it makes it a little bit more interesting but thts just my opinion haha I'm sure your C&C cage is really good haha x soz

Piggies aren't natural climbers and some never take to ramps and prefer all one level. I have a loft with a ramp for mine but only because I had to split them after fighting and only have room for two 3 x 2 so added a loft for extra space.Once we get back to America I will have tons of room and I'm going to build them a 6x3 each and really make them a one level palace.

Oh well everyone seems to think one level is best x take no notice of me x sorry for any inconvenience x

CandE Cosies make ramp tunnels. I am going to buy 2 next week. They are 18 each and worth it. Will stop accidental tumbles.

I suppose... Oh well haha x u see my pigs have 5 levels and in the they have 3 ramps and I have never had a problem ever with ramps. I thought they were strengthening their hind legs though as they push up them but I'm obviously completely wrong! I'm sorry for that I should have said that I wasn't certain! Sorry x it's just my personal opinion it suppose x

I also think that with C&C cages (if you don't have a lot of space) ramps and other levels help provide more space but if u spread it all out it would be a decent sized cage x thts only if u don't have loads of space though x
