:hmm::hmm::hmm::hmm::hmm::hmm::hmm::hmm: can my guineapigs eat spinach ? ive read online they can but also that they cannot ?

Yes they can.... But not too much. I would only give a small piece /baby leaf per pig once a week.

My Finn and Lara eat spinach. They also get variety of veggies and herbs.
They get small amount of fruit three to four times a week.

Ours get it about once a week, the baby spinach is better for them than actual adult (whats fully grown spinach called!?) :lol!: spinach leaves. It contains a lot of calcium and oxalic acid which binds the calcium into larger pieces causing urine sludge. The baby leaves have less in, although still higher than a lot of other veg so yeah..once a week at most. Less often if it's the larger leaves :)

They can, but only in small amounts. And only three to four times a week. It is very high in calcium, but also vitamin C. So if your pig is prone to stones, I would not feed at all. But if they need more vitamin C, spinach would be a good option.
