Can guinea pigs eat rusted lettuce?

Hi!
I always try to avoid the rusty lettuce leaves when I feed the piggies, but especially when I use red leaf lettuce, I find that I am wasting a lot. I would eat it myself, but I am just wondering about the piglets.
Rusty lettuce has antioxidant properties due to oxidization (I will attach a picture).

Generally, "rusting" is a sign the lettuce is going bad--personally I wouldn't feed it.

No, we cut it and just give the green part whenever the lettuce end up like that. Well once the middle part gets "rusty", that's when we just cut it. Otherwise, we don't feed it.
