Can anyone recommend a durable pet laundry bag?

Every bag I buy seems to split open quite quickly; 2 months is the longest one has lasted.

I don't cram the bags full either. :c

I need one that's long. Or my washer will go off kilter. So I don't have any recommendations but will be watching this thread.

This is the one that I have, I also have the slightly smaller one. It has lasted for years.

May I ask how many items you tend to put in the larger one and what they are? Just in case I am putting too much stuff in mine.

Because these bags all seem to be the same size and material. If I'm not overfilling the bag then perhaps my washing machine is a psycho. :xd:

Thank you, you reminded me, we need to get a new bag.
Our old bag ( from Amazon ) has lasted about 3 years.
Our old washing machine was fine, the new one is not keen on piggie washing!

I have the same one as @Betsy, I've had it for over 18 months. I also have some cheap mesh ones that I prefer for the cage liners that have backing. I know some people use a single duvet cover with a scrunchie to hold it closed.
I tend to only fill them a third as I don't think they wash well otherwise.

I have the same Amazon one - I have two both about 4-5 years old and no issues - I fill about 1/2 full and add an old towel to the washing machine drum if need be

I have the Moorland Rider one too - I used it for several years and it's showed no sign of splitting or similar.
I used to wash a 5x3 C&C fleece liner it, so quite heavy. The bag wasn't damaged by it but the weight of the single liner wasn't good for the machine and I had to have the bearings replaced. (When I have guinea pigs again I will change to smaller liners)

(You can buy the bags direct from the manufacturer for pretty much the same price, you don't have to add to Amazon's profit mountain)

Pardon our interruption...

This is the one I've bought. It's got a really good zip on it and is substantial material. I give it 10/10. I fill it about half full. (Probably a bit too much but 🤷🏻‍♀️) It's called "Ruggles wash bag"

This is what I have that I can highly recommend. I have bought loads of wash bags that eventually split a few times (and I've stitched back a few times too), but this brand have never split at all. They are a little expensive but it does the job properly.

I pop in one 4ft fleece, a couple of snuggle sacks, a 3ft and a 1ft washable liner and a large pee pad.
