Our lovely spotty cage :)p

That looks fabulous! I'm glad I'm not the onlyone that puts down an extra piece of fabric in their hidey corners to keep them clean lol :))

I just washed my cage liner, a blue spotty fleece like yours, was sure that the red pepper stains wouldn't come out, just took it off the line & it's perfect! Making a pink spotty one this week and one with cupcakes on it next week lol :))

My cage liners have had their first wash and have come up really well. They are much appreciated by me and the piggies who need special treatment (post Neuter etc.) Thankyou very much.

Okay bear in mind I am no wizz with the sewing machine, bust a needle within 10 minutes of starting it lol

As you can see it was a complete nightmare to do as it is in a "T" shape rolleyes
Should I get a thicker needle to get through the fleece as it's so thick?

It look's great! do you use sew toppers or towels to the fleece?

Neither lol it seemed too thick for my machine, so I am putting a normal fleece under that, then under that some towels, & newspaper at the bottom.

I worked out it was too expensive to use a liner underneath rolleyes It seems okay though, changed it all today washed the lot changed the papers etc. It probably could have lasted another day, I did it all last Saturday. :)

Your liners look fab! I love the spotty green one especially x)

One question though, do you just put them in on their own in the washing machine, and do they fold up? They look quite large to go in the machine ?/

i get 2 2x4 ones in the washing machine with room to spare they fold up quite small and are just like blankets

These are absolutely great!
Can you explain- are the sides sewn on to the bottom? And if so how do you fit the liner onto the corroplast? (Hope that makes sense).

How much would a 5x3 grids liner be?

It's like fitting a sheet, and £45 for 5x3 plus postage

Thought I'd share our wonderful new cage set up (we have an upstairs too but this is out of action at the moment due to having a post-op piggie).

Huge apologies if the photos are massive - I forgot to change the size of them and then by the time I'd done it, it was too late to edit the post.

Hope it didn't cause anyone any problems xx

Hello Lorraine,

I have a request (as I'm too tired and chocker block full of orders to sew myself - haha lazy or what!) :)) can you at all make the bottom base (without the sides) for a 2ft by 4ft hutch?

Annnnd if its possible could I have it in this fabric please? x)

Much love, and thank youuus!

Laura.

(P.s Percy-Roo is not at all happy with me requesting this.....as its for his hutch!) :))

EDIT: Oh and if it is possible, I do have another part in the hutch which will need a small liner (its a small raised area)....I'll go and get the measurements for you in a bit)

I have made one for my outdoor hutch ( i say the piggies summer house lol) i just used wadding fleece and cotton but if you want it for over winter it would be best with topper and wadding for extra warmth? i hope to be ordering fabric this week but am waiting on people to choose fleece its very difficult as you must know there are so many pretty one's, i dont know if you have used that ebay seller but their standard delivery is very quick thought it might be useful given the trouble you have had with your supplier but they dont do purple flowers:(
