My house was looking more like Santy Town with my current C&C cages as they were added on higgledy piggledy with the changing needs of pigs that come & go.

SO... it was time to put this house in order and today was the day :)

First relocate pigs to the front room

Then call on reinforcements - the family handy man my old Dad
Time to dismantle

As you can see Cleo is helping by cleaning up that pesky piggie poo

The 2 joined tables are being separated
Yep... Cleo's still helping

We then changed the legs, these are higher (50cm) and the 2 tables bolted together

WOW AWESOME!!!

oh that's fab that your dad helped x)

and i have been giggling like crazy at your little helper.....aka..............Cleo x):(|):(|)

Your 'two up-two down' looks fabulous! I would love to have the space for all my piggies in one place, but I guess thats my fault for having so many! rolleyes
Cleo looks like she was enjoying herself, my dogs also love piggie poo, it must be very tasty! :))

Fab cage! it looks amazing :)
Is it difficult to get to the bottom cage though, when cleaning ect?

WOW not showing my gang these pics! I also wondered about access to the bottom cages, how do you get the piggies out/manage cleaning? Do you have a secret door?:))

Should be much better and easier to manage than my last set up where I had to step into cages to get to cages @)

I love the look on that piggy's face in the last pic, as if to say "Oi! My home is moving!" :(|):(|)

That's Minty who did live with Pepe next door until recently, Pepe was getting Minty down and it was grating on Minty's health.

My Dad kindly made the tables (I've sent him off to make another one for stage 2 of the piggy room)
The legs are from B&Q.

The top leg on this photo is 50cm cost £3 odd The 2 lower legs are the old ones at 30cm high. They are made of metal

That is an awesome set up!

I'd like C&C grids but the problem here is that we don't have a lot of space so need the cages to stack. I have 2 rat cages stacking on my piggie cage!

Amazing set - up I love it! Think it's great how the doors open, really accessible to clean out.

Really want to do C&C when we move house. Unfortuantely (and Rach will agree with me on this) I am awful at DIY, I'd love to make a table to put the C&C on but i wouldn't trust it. I worry about hanging photos on nails I knock into the wall lol! I am such an anti-man :))

Love your furry helper by the way.

That is looking really smart. Bet you are glad to have some floor back and I love the opening door side thing. Will have to come down again to inspect;) and learn more. I bet you had to make a lot of tea for your Dad.

How are the piggies finding their new set up?

What a fantastic set up! Really like it. How do you make sure that the top cage stays on the table? I am so jealous. I'm reorganising my cages in the Easter hols and this has given me a few ideas. Unfortunately, darling OH is even more useless than me at diy, so no chance of getting this kind of table made! I'm having to improvise.
