Bulging eye

I’m not entirely sure how this works I just registered but my guinea pig has one eye that seems to be out more than the other I’m going to call the vet tomorrow since it’s 2 AM should I be concerned.. one of my guinea pigs just passed less than a week ago.. I really hope gorge/the guinea with the eye thing is okay.. If any of you know what this is or what it could be please let me know.

We can’t diagnose anything as we aren’t vets, but eye issues are classed as urgent and you do need to get your piggy seen by a vet as soon as possible

Hi!

Have you checked by looking from above whether both eyes are the same when you look from above? Some piggy eyes have that shape that you are posting naturally. Yours looks well set within the lids to me.
It is important that you always check whether the eyes are actually symmetrical first and - if that is not the case - which eye the problem is located in.

See a vet promptly whenever one eye is either in-drawn (eye injury/pain) or if it is really bulging compared to the other (abscess behind the eye/bad reaction to fungal treatment close to it/glaucoma).

One eye is more than the other but it’s not always out but I called a vet today and we should be hearing back from them soon I’m not sure why it’s upside down but that is a photo of his other eye
